hi again – this time:
STUDIO THINGS

as I will be on holiday for a week in september, for this period of time i will be leaving my studio in the very good hands of ceramicists lena-marie lange und caroline timm. the two of them will be displaying their beautiful ceramic pieces and giving you an opportunity to get a closer look at their creations. 

we are opening the week with a joint event on thursday, september 11th, celebrating the "take-over" with a showcase of new and/or selected works from all three of us. to round things off there will be food and drinks crafted and provided by the very talented isabelle weber. all our graphics and visual representation is in the hands of lovely lina herschel. we would be so so happy to see you there!

over the last months i have started venturing out in the wider world of silver objects, experimenting with new shapes and words. some objects will be available at the event, others will be available for pre-order you can sign up for at the event or via an online form. it's always exciting to let new works out into the world, so i am super happy to do so in such lovely company this time!

studio workshops:
COME MAKE WITH ME

i added four new workshop dates to the webshop, spreading over october and november, to provide you with a fun and wholesome experience while the days grow darker. the workshops are held in a group setting of five people max. in german (and/or english if needed). together we will create your own object - ring or necklace pendant - in wax, which will then be cast in silver using the lost wax technique. after the cast, i will finish your object at the studio and it will be ready for pick up after about 3-4 weeks. 

there will be no further workshops in the time leading up to christmas (!). if this is something you think of in the context of a christmas present (either gifting the experience to someone special or making your someone special a silver object yourself), this is a little heads-up that these are the only four dates available before christmas.

custom christmas orders:

it might seem a little pre-mature to mention "christmas" as we are just about to enter the end of summer, but with the processes involved in casting silver objects, as well as my capacities, i thought it would only be fair to let you know that i have only limited spaces available for custom orders. this means that if you are thinking of giving someone a special piece - custom-made to your (or their) wishes - please get in touch ahead of time. the last opportunity to initiate a custom order is week 47 (11-16th of November) as long as i've got slots available.
