'this is not the time' is a personal project that reflects on humanity’s tendency to disconnect from one another and from the world (2025).

it critiques greed and mistrust, emphasizing that these are self-made barriers that prevent true connection. it urges us to remember our shared humanity – our warmth, vulnerability and need for sympathy – and it challenges us to move past fear and division. it is a plea for empathy and hope in the face of urgency.

all objects are handmade individually. the pieces are hand-carved in wax and locally cast in recycled 935 silver. the wax model, as well as the mould, are destroyed in the process of the silver casting, which is why the process is also called cire perdue or lost form. this means that there is only ever one version of your exact ring and there cannot be another. it is absolutely unique.
