friends of handmade things and warm gatherings, there is something cozy coming your way!

because we really enjoyed working together and because we indeed had the hunch that you felt that way too, we - studio julika hartz, turningtables, lena-marie lange, caroline timm, isabelle weber and lina herschel - came together once more to provide you with a lovely 2-day-event. this time we invited even more friends to provide you with selected and partly exclusive silver things, ceramics + custom made tableware, glass jewelry, interior objects and reworked garments to get you ready for christmas! and if this is not enough to get you going, maybe this will: we have punch and biscuits!

we had multiple conversations about the frame of this event and in the end stuck with the ambiguous title THIS VERY PRESENT. 

each handmade object is, in a sense, a crystallized “present”. it represents hours of intention, attention, and skill — time given form. when we pick up a handmade item, we touch the maker’s presence, their thinking and care, brought into the tangible world. and if you will, the handmade object becomes a bridge: between the maker’s present, the visitor’s present, and the future moment in which the object might become a gift.
