WAX CARVING WORKSHOP

In this workshop you have the opportunity to create your personal wax object, which will then be cast into a 935 silver ring.

This workshop is divided into two parts. First, there will be a small questionnaire to help you generate ideas for your individual piece. In the second part of the workshop you will shape the wax into your desired ring shape and implement the ideas of form, text and/or illustrations you came up with before.

The workshop will held in German, but can be held/translated in English if needed. You will be working exclusively with wax. Your finished wax model will be cast and refined by me. It will be ready for pick-up/shipping after 3 weeks.

DETAILS

The workshop can take up to 4 hours. Since it is always nice to not be in a rush, especially when working creatively, it would be super nice if you could bring some extra time towards the end (instead of e.g. rushing to the next appointment).

No prior knowledge is required for this workshop and you do not need any special equipment or clothing. Please just make sure you are not wearing your favourite pieces, as some of the working materials could be staining. 

There will be water, tea, coffee and a selection of snacks. If you need any other kinds of drinks or refreshments, feel free to bring them with you.

The material for an average sized object is included in the price. Going larger is possible at additional costs. Going gold is also possible at additional costs and delivery time.

This workshop is designed for up to 5 participants to ensure individual support and care. If you are interested to book this workshop as a group event, please send an email to hallo@julikahartz.com to talk about your options. I will not be able to host an event for more than 10 people (no exceptions).

Of course you can. BUT I will have to be strict with the cancellation policy. If you have to cancel, the refund depends on when you do so:

DAYS PRIOR TO EVENT | REFUND
7 days or more | 100% refund
3-6 days | 50% refund
2 days or less | 0% refund

(!) If one person knows that things can happen - it's me, believe me! You can get ill, your children can get ill, you can get caught on a train, you forget a more important commitment, the list is endless. And while I am in total acknowledgement that the workshop price probably is a fair amount of money to you, so it is to me. Which is why I am asking you kindly to please be honest with me, when canceling this workshop (or any other, for that matter).
