there is something in the air surrounding people who are carrying flowers. it is never callous, always charged. always saturated with purpose. no one, carrying even a single flower, is without aim. when you are carrying flowers there is somewhere to go, some place to be, some thought to be shared. and not just that. the place where you are going, is a place that is about to be embellished. no matter how grievous the motive. just think of that. the sheer hopefulness makes me weak in the knees. i don‘t think there is anything closer to some sort of truth: here is something uprooted, so obviously prone to die, raging with beauty and holding out to joy. and you, me, this feeble human species - here to carry it.
these are my thoughts, but with the purchase of this ring, i am handing the baton over to you to give these words your very own meaning – to go places, to share thoughts.
PROCESS
all pieces of the KEYWORDS collection where made by a process called cire perdue or lost form. first, the shape (your ring) is made in wax. this wax model is then covered with clay or plaster to form a mould. when the mould is heated, the wax is burnt out, leaving an empty space inside. hot liquid silver is poured into this space. after the silver cools and hardens, the mould is broken away, and the final silver object is revealed.
PLEASE NOTE
– the different (ring) sizes are cast from individual wax models, which is why minor differences in handwriting might occur on the different sizes. the handwriting on the product picture may vary ever so slightly from the one on the size you are ordering.
– small irregularities that may occur during the casting process are unintentional, but not undesirable. they enhance the handcrafted nature that i, as the maker, wholeheartedly stand for. they do not constitute grounds for a complaint. the objects are polished with a light satin finish.

– all pieces are hallmarked with my maker's mark (little wave) and the fineness of the silver used (935).
